Dolphin Odyssey
During the Dolphin Odyssey program you will join Dolphin Harbor’s Marine Mammal Training Staff for an exciting and intimate 1 ½ hour journey into dolphin behavior up-close.
This program includes:
- A 15 minute educational classroom presentation prior to entering the water.
- A 30 minute deep water experience including touching, feeding and training with a dolphin. You’ll also swim into deeper water for more interactions and even have the chance to get a dolphin ride across the pool.
- Personal photo opportunities with a dolphin.
- A wetsuit and towel are provided for use during the session. Guests should bring their own bathing suits.
- Each Dolphin Odyssey session is unique, based upon the guests and dolphins.
- Complimentary admission to all Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for the day
- All participants must be 52” (4'4 or132cm) tall and must be able to understand directions given in English.
- 14 participants maximum per session.
- $199 plus tax per participant
Dolphin Encounter
The Dolphin Encounter program offers an exciting way of learning and interacting with our dolphins. This fun-filled shallow water program is a great way for young and old alike to have an unforgettable experience with a dolphin.
The program includes:
- A 15 minute educational classroom presentation prior to entering the water.
- A 30 minute shallow water experience including touching, feeding and playing with a dolphin. You’ll even learn what its like to train a dolphin, getting up-close and personal like never before.
- Photo opportunities with a dolphin.
- Complimentary admission to all Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for the day.
- A wetsuit and towel are provided for use during the session. Guests should bring their own bathing suits.
- Each Dolphin Encounter session is unique, based upon the guests and dolphins.
- All participants must be 5 years of age and must be able to understand directions given in English.
- Children 5-9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult participant.
- 28 participants maximum per session.
- $139 plus tax per participant. $99 plus tax for children, ages 5-9.

Trainer For A Day
Ever wonder what it’s like to work with Flipper or Salty the Sea Lion as a marine mammal trainer at Miami Seaquarium? As Trainer For A Day, you can enjoy a totally hands-on, behind-the-scenes experience like no other! Working side-by-side with our trainers, you’ll receive training basics and orientations for each of our marquee shows, assist with daily show set-ups, watch and critique shows, and help with other essential activities.
The full-day program also includes getting up-close and in the water with friendly dolphins in our fabulous, interactive Dolphin Odyssey, lunch with a trainer at Flipper Lagoon, career advice for future marine mammal trainers, plus photos, souvenirs, free parking and more. You must be 16 and over, English-speaking, able to stand for a minimum of one hour, and able to lift 30 pounds to participate.
