Miami Seaquarium®’s commitment to education is reflected in the many resources we offer pre-K, elementary, and high school teachers. Enhance your curriculum with our interactive activities and videos.

The Education Department at Miami Seaquarium® is proud to introduce our children’s educational video series Your Window to the Sea. Whether they serve as a reminder of your recent trip to the park, or as an introduction to an upcoming visit, these 18-20 minute videos are a great addition to your classroom/home video library. There are four videos in the series.

  • BABY ANIMALS: Miami Seaquarium® is booming with babies! Learn about our newest and cutest additions, what they eat, how they survive in the wild and how our staff cares for them in the park. From sea lion pups, to twin fawns, this is one video sure to make you say “awwwh!”
  • WHALES, DOLPHINS TRAINING: Everyone loves the highly intelligent marine mammals, but do you really know how much work goes into caring for them? Learn all about whale and dolphin anatomy, our trainers’ daily responsibilities, the training process, and how we maintain the health of our most popular stars.
  • FUN FISHY FACTS: One fish, two fish, three fish, four, our oceans are filled with fish galore. Learn about the differences between bony and cartilaginous fish, their feeding habits, symbiotic relationships, and lots of other fun fishy facts.
  • AQUATIC ALERT: Who’s in danger? Sea turtles, manatees, crocodiles, and coral reefs – and they can all be found right here in Florida’s waters. Learn about each species, reasons for their endangerment, and what you can do to help protect them.

$12.65 per video (including tax, shipping, & handling within the continental U.S.).
